Unfortunately the short “In concert” tour will not be going ahead in May and June due to the promoters in Japan suddenly being unable to meet their financial commitment previously agreed with the Pet Shop Boys. This also means that the shows in Dubai, Brazil and Mexico cannot go ahead at the present time as they are no longer economically practical. It is hoped, however, that they can be rescheduled for later in the year.
Neil and Chris would like to apologise to fans in these countries for any disappointment; they are also disappointed, as they were looking forward to these dates and had already done a considerable amount of work on the tour. Luckily, the Japanese promoters financial problems became evident before any tickets had gone on sale.
The festival dates in the summer are unaffected and will be going ahead as already planned.
