Following their acclaimed Australian Premiere Season, the Original Australian Cast of "Seriously: Pet Shop Boys. Reinterpreted" will appear at the Roxy Main, Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2007, from August 2nd to August 27th. This is not an "official" PSB production but is a very creative reworking of Tennant/Lowe songs in a theatrical setting. According to the official press release: "This introspective musical production strips back the hi-energy songs of Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe with dazzling results….Created by writer David Knox and arranger Dean Lotherington, this daring reinvention of the catalogue musical of over 25 songs lays somewhere between concert, cabaret and musical theatre. With a stunning string quartet and soaring vocals, the audience is witness to a compelling evening in an intimate and elegant setting."
