Just seen this unusual and interesting film. I’ve read Marjane Satrapi’s graphic novels about growing up in Iran on which the film is based and the film is just as fresh and moving and revealing.
Went to the preview of an exhibition of photographs by Linda McCartney in London tonight: a carefully chosen selection of images which really “capture the moment”. I knew Linda a little and liked her very much: she was a gentle, kind and creative person. (The photo above is a self-portrait taken in Francis Bacon’s studio in 1997.)
This could be a fun night (if it’s your kind of music).
