Neil Tennant will be the guest on “Desert Island Discs” on BBC Radio 4 tomorrow morning, Sunday February 4th, between 11.15 am and 12.00 pm. The programme will be repeated next Friday, February 9th, between 9 and 9.45 am.
“Desert Island Discs” is one of BBC Radio’s most popular and enduring programmes. Created by Roy Plomley in 1942, the format is simple: each week a guest is invited by Kirsty Young to choose the eight records they would take with them to a desert island.
I saw a wonderful concert by Arooj Aftab in Berlin tonight. She has the most beautiful voice and is accompanied by brilliant musicians who play with a rare delicacy. I’ve been listening to her album “Night Reign” which I highly recommend! Neil x
