Pet Shop Boys have now expanded their UK Electric 2014 tour to include a new date at The Sage, Gateshead, on Tuesday 2nd September. The show will be part of a season of events celebrating Sage Gateshead’s tenth Anniversary.
Neil Tennant, who grew up in nearby Newcastle, commented: “It always feels special to come home and perform a show and the Sage has established itself in the last ten years as one of Europe’s very best venues for all genres of music.”
Tickets for the Gateshead show go on sale June 11th from 10am (GMT) and can be purchased using the link below.
I saw a wonderful concert by Arooj Aftab in Berlin tonight. She has the most beautiful voice and is accompanied by brilliant musicians who play with a rare delicacy. I’ve been listening to her album “Night Reign” which I highly recommend! Neil x
