Dreamland single released on CD and vinyl today

Pet Shop Boys’ current single, “Dreamland” featuring Years & Years, is released today, October 25th, on CD, digital and 12-inch vinyl formats, featuring new remixes and B‑sides. The two new songs featured are “An open mind”, produced by Stuart Price and recorded during sessions for the forthcoming PSB album, and “No boundaries”, taken from the stage version of Hanif Kureishi’s “My Beautiful Laundrette” which opened in Leicester last week. The remixes come courtesy of PSB themselves, TWD (Stuart Price) and Jacques Renault. All formats of “Dreamland” are available to pre-order/pre-save from the links below.

Having recently performed a triumphant headline slot at this year’s BBC Radio 2 in Hyde Park, PSB will play seven UK shows as part of their new tour – Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live – in May/June 2020. Tickets are available from the link below and the full schedule is as follows:

Pet Shop Boys have recently completed work on their latest studio album – the third part of a Stuart Price-produced trilogy which started with “Electric” in 2013 and continued with “Super” in 2016. The album will be released January 24th. Further details to follow.

A gay man in Russia, Andrei Kotov, arrested for running a gay travel agency and then tortured, has died in pre-trial detention. Organising any activity in Russia involving LGBTQ+ people is defined as “extremist”. We send our condolences to Andrei’s friends and family and to all LGBTQ+ people in Russia. A new studio recording of the “All the young dudes” / “West End girls” medley, performed by PSB and the Manchester Camerata, and produced by Stuart Price with strings arranged by Anne Dudley, is available to stream now at the link below. The medley was performed at the MTV EMAs last night. It’s accompanied by a different “orchestral” mix by Stuart Price.
