I have taken part in a project called “The Big Read” where every day a chapter of the great American novel, “Moby Dick”, will be read aloud. Curated by Philip Hoare, award-winning writer of “Leviathan, or the Whale” and the artist Angela Cockayne, the Moby Dick Big Read will consist of recordings of all 136 chapters of Herman Melville’s 1851 classic online. The chapter I’ve read is coming up next week. Go to the links for more information and to hear the first chapters. Neil
